Pirate's Cove
Growing up on the St. Johns River connects you to it for life. It was my childhood playground, my swimming hole, my fishing hole, my connection to nature. I lived on a small cove off the St. Johns, Pirate's Cove, and to me the name said it all. It was at one time a safe harbor for pirates and the idea that pirates once sailed their ships into the same "waters" I sailed in captured my imagination. To Be Continued... - by David Wingard
