Goodbye
On 9/28/08 a goodbye party was held for the biologist at the GTMNERR at Ponte Vedra who was relocating to California to attend graduate school. It was held at a friend's house who lives on the St Johns River. It was a fantastic fall night and the setting was absolutely beautiful...a perfect setting for a biologist who loves nature. The sunset that evening was dramatic and while the sun was setting manatees came up to the dock as if to say goodbye to our wonderful biologist. It was a perfect ending to an individual who has helped to protect our environment! The gorgeous river setting added to the night's emotional goodbye! - by David Farah
